Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in your service agreement. General terms include:
Setup Fees
One-time setup fees are due before work begins on your project
Monthly Subscriptions
Recurring fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis

Late Payments
Payments more than 15 days overdue may result in service suspension

Intellectual Property
Our Intellectual Property
All JurisRise content, technology, software, designs, logos, and trademarks remain our exclusive property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use our services as permitted under these Terms.
Your Content
You retain full ownership of content you provide, including text, images, logos, and other materials. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, modify, and display such content solely to provide our services.
Website Ownership
Upon full payment, you own the custom design elements and content created specifically for your website. However, our underlying platform technology, templates, code libraries, and proprietary systems remain our property.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use our services to:
Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
Service Level
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for hosted websites. This excludes scheduled maintenance, which will be communicated in advance when possible.
We are not liable for service interruptions caused by:
- Factors beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
- Scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice
- Actions or omissions by you or third parties
- Internet connectivity issues external to our infrastructure
- DDoS attacks or other malicious activities
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by providing 30 days written notice. You remain responsible for all fees incurred through the termination date.
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for payment failure, Terms violations, or at our discretion with 30 days notice.
Upon Termination
- Your access to services will cease at the end of the notice period
- You may request your website files within 30 days of termination
- We will provide reasonable assistance with migration upon request
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
JurisRise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JurisRise, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Your content or materials
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any dispute between you and a third party
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Arbitration
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in London, United Kingdom. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these Terms by sending written notice to legal@jurisrise.com.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitration.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
